Compact start

I have been trying to get the compact start panel to work without any luck so far. I change the settings and apply a compact skin but the text stays and it just looks distorted. Any suggestions?

You need to be running Window Blinds 4.1 ...
Then when you select a skin (that offers compact start menu), if there is regular and compact versions within the skin, you'll need to choose the compact version from the sub-designs drop down menu on your properties/appearance window.

is 4.0 build 100 the same as 4.1 ?

No...currently, the latest version is 4.1 build 107.
